My male pleco has been fanning a clutch of eggs for about 5 days now and the eggs have just developed enough to see a little wriggler with the egg sac.

Since the fry are in the pleco D cave with the father and they are in a community tank.

I would like to know if it OK to move the D cave (fry and father) into a breeding net in the same tank?

Also when should I start feeding the fry and what should I feed them?

Thanks,
Craig.

It is a Bristlenose Pleco. The male is about 5 inches.
The tank contains:
5x 6 Inch Geo. Rio Branco
12x 2 Inch Geo. Branchybranchus

BN's are more hardier and you can do that i've moved them when they were wrigglers themselves minus the father

USE tank water from the first tank to the new tank that's the key the father won't get so upset and kick out the wrigglers but the wrigglers then can just do fine themselves they're so hardy... they will eat anything you offer them, they eat the same things their parents eat like vegetables, alage wafers, however I'll provide more protein for them.

just tip up the cave and move it to the other tank with same water and your'e all set :)

Good luck
