The big day is only 2 days away, I have a 150 set up with an established fx5 at my parents house. It has my pleco and my frontnosa in it. Moving the 370 gallon with 5 rays on sat.

Plan is to put them all in individual rubber maids, with air running to them. I have another fx5 and 100 gallon sump with the 370 gallon tank, ill leave the fx5 full of water.

When everything is said and done, they should be in rubbermaids for no more than 5 hours, its only an hour and a half drive.

I plan on setting up the main tank and transfer all the water from the 150 gallon tank to the tank so it is basicly one large water change.

Feeding stopped yesterday.

Any final suggestions?

might want to do a water change on the rubbermaid containers throughout that 5 hour or at least test the water to make sure nothing is going really wrong

Don't feed your rays now. Good luck with the move.

yea, a little more then a month after she gave birth and she looks bigger then she did when she had the pups..... It sux that i have to move her but i really have no choice....

sound like u have it covered. test the water alot in the 370 when u get it set up. deff dont feed the rays for a day or two after setup. GL!!!!

I would have one more spare tub with water just in case you need it.

Whats the weather like there right now? If its questionable, you could put some heat packs in the tubs, sealed in a plastic zip lock of course. Just a thought!!!

Gluck...

weather is sopose to be in the 70s and sunny, im not to worried about the temp dropping since right before i leave i can add some water as well...
