Moving Sucks

After spending the last ~11.5 years overseas I finally moved back to the US this summer. Stuff finally arrived a few weeks ago and of course the asshats broke my 2.5 gallon, cracked and chipped the hell out of my 300 gallon, and broke the lid of my 260 gallon. If you ever move to/from the UK, don't use Arrowdene movers, they suck. Already filed a claim, so hopefully these bums pay up.

I guess the only positive right now is I don't have any stock, so as we get pounded by Florence and lose power I don't have to worry about losing any fish.

That sucks man but I have a question. Why would you bother bringing a 2.5 gallon back with you and why wouldn't you just keep it on your person instead of giving it to them? It's a very small tank. Also could you post a picture of all of the things that they damaged?

It was my betta tank. And I'm not hand carrying a fish tank on a plane with my luggage no matter how small, lol. The company should do what they are paid to do and move stuff without breaking it.

I can't figure it out, what's the 2nd picture of?
 
I had problems the last time I moved. Next time I'm crating every tank. Also had problems with unloaders doing boneheaded things like putting a box of books on top of an acrylic aquarium. Next time I'll only allow two people max so I can keep an eye on them the whole time.

I've moved multiple times now and this was by far the worst.
