I thought this would be a fun thread for those of you that like to play with stocklists. I'm finally setting up my 210 gallon. I ordered a new wet-dry for it with all the plumbing kits, pumps, etc. It should be here Friday. That will mean a 150 gallon, a 210 gallon, and a 55 gallon. I'm trying to decide which fish I want to put where. I'll give you a list and you tell me how you'd divide them among the three tanks. Note that I don't have any dithers (yet), just strictly peaceful SA cichlids.

5 Mesonauta festivus, 4 - 6"
1 Heros efasciatus "Super Red" male, 6"
2 Heros sp. "rotkeil", 4 - 6"
1 Heros severus "Atabapo" female, 6 - 7"
1 Heros notatus female (I think), 5"
1 Heros efasciatus male, 7"
1 Heros efasciatus gold male, 5"
3 Geophagus parnaibe, 3"
4 Cleithracara maronii, 3"
2 Pterophyllum scalare, wild adult Peruvians
2 Pterophyllum scalare, adult tank-raised marbles
5 Laetacara dorsigera, 2 - 3"
4 Krobia sp. "Xingu Orange Spot"
2 Uaru sp. "orange"
1 Hypselecara temporalis, 6"

I had considered putting all the severums and festivums into the 210 and leaving the Uaru and chocolate cichlid in the 150 with the smaller fish (keyholes, Laetacara, Geos, etc.). I also have the 55 which I could put some sand and plants in for the smaller fish, leaving me the two big tanks for the larger fish. I'm still not sure how I want to do it so I'm open to suggestions.

How about putting the severums, Uaru, chocolate and angels in the 210 (probably can't plant it), Geos and other smaller fish in the 150 (nicely planted), and save the 55 for breeding?

I was also going to suggest keeping the severums, uaru and chocolate together in the 210G. I find that my group of 4 severums and 2 (soon to be 3 other fish) is a lot more peaceful in my 120G than when I had a group of 3 severum together with 1 other fish. I believe severum will shoal together when there are enough of them- it would be a great sight to see 7 of them! I think the uaru and chocolate would fit in well with them. I used to keep an uaru with my severum.

I might consider the festivums instead of the angels for this tank- my festivums are more aggressive to smaller fish than my angelfish. Then again, I don't have wild-caught Peruvians, just tank-raised koi!

Where did you get your SA's? You've got a great collection. I got most of mine from Rapps. I'm jealous of your huge group of severum. I don't think I have room for more than the 4 I have. I'd also love to keep uaru again.

My only concern is that my severums seem to really overpower my Uaru at feeding time. My Uaru are quite shy and their growth pretty much stopped when I moved them into my community tank. The chocolate does well with everyone.

Most of my SA's came from Rapps, though I got my Krobia from Ken Davis @ Fish Farm and a few of my severums came from John (snookn21). I also picked a few up locally.

The domestic angels are some that I bred about three years ago, and the wild Peruvians I got about five years ago from my friend Al. They are slowly dying one by one. I estimate they're probably 6 - 7 years old.
