I am considering moving my 13" jag hybrid into my 150 from the 55. I kept him seperated so the other fish could growout, and now I think that they are big enough to handle him.

So what I was thinking was to put him in the 150, but keep the 55 empty just in case he starts bashing everyone in the 150. I would keep my eye on him for the rest of the week, and if he passes then it's all good, and if not, back to the 55.

I never really intended on him staying in the 55. I got the 150 for him, but didnt know that the fish which I did keep with him would die from some disease that went through my tank... Hence the growouts...

Any suggestions or comments would be great!
Thanks,

i so go for it. i mean if your watching him the worst that could happen is him get stressed and attak. not kill bt attack.

if nothing else, use your 55 as the grow out. you have a 13" fish in a tank that's only 48"x12". he's cramped in there.

What other fish you got in there, and how big are they?

good luck, I hope he's not to agressive maybe you should switch some of the decorations in the tank around to get rid of territories the other fish may have set up.

good advice. i do that at least once a month, probably more like every other week. I gotta take all my large stones out to do a thorough vac, anyway. it does reduce aggression. and breeding. as soon as my cons get comfy, their whole house is rearranged.
