moving with fish ?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
3/4 of an hour drive isn't too bad.. at the beginning of the year, I did a trip from NJ to MD.. which was about 3-4 hours. I had battery operated bubblers ready but didn't need to use them. was transferring 12" wolf fish, a 7" payara and flounder. Used big bags, placed those bags in a couple buckets.

If you've currently got a tank set up and cycled, all the bacteria needed is in your filter... i would assume they wouldn't all dry up and die during the trip.

3/4 meant 3 or 4 not three fourths. sorry. I understand the bacteria needed would be in the filter but it will take 2 hours or so for all the water to run through the filters I would assume plus the 4 hours of a trip. just wasnt sure how easy it would be.
