ok so i am moving to walla walla washington five hours away from where i live now so i have to figure out away to move my fish and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas.

Man you gotta give more info, what type fish, how many, tank size, filter types etc. The more info you provide the better suggestions you'll get.

lots and lots of tupperware. if tupperware is too small get some rubber maids. one fish in each, substrate in one, water in buckets, plants with the water, empty tank.

that's how we moved my friends tank.

sry about the lack of info. i have about 25 fish and they range from 10 in to 2 in and there coming from my ten gallon and 75 gallon.

get you some clean tupperware and put as muchwater as you can into it with the fish then drive. set up the new tank and put fish in. try to save as much water from your 75 as possible. i.e. get some 5 gallon bucket from the hardware store and fill'em up. when you get the tank set up put that water back it it. i moved my african cichlids in 5 gallon bucket with lids. when i moved my 75 i took about 30 gallons with me and used that to refill the tank. good luck and let us know how it goes.
oh yeah, also DO NOT let your biological media dry up on the move. very important
