Over all the years that I have had my Red Devil I have only taken a few pictures of him. In the 14 years maybe 15 that I have had him he has grown from about 2 inches to 13 inches. He is 100% as active now as he was when he was young and just as bad tempered. I have been keeping records for probably 25 years but everything before 14 years got ruined by an aquarium leak. I found him in the 14 year old records. I'm sure he isn't over 15 but he could be 15. !4 for sure.
This is the hardest fish that I have to take pictures of because of the flash reflections off the orange scales.
I took a few shots last week so here is Mr. Grump.

He is perfection at its best.. i never knew anyone who kept their red devil this long so it is refreshing to see through the years it is bursting with good health.. hope you have many more together.:)

Great looking fish and congrats to you for keeping him so healthy looking after 14 years! I'm impressed.
 
Thanks everyone. This fish is like an old friend even though he gets furious at me when I put HIS gravel back where I want it every couple of days. Here are a couple of shots that I like.

WOW i hope i can keep my devil pair alive for 15 years that's awsome mine are just over 4 years old.
