Getting ready to completely redo the ole fishroom. Going to build two racks, 18'x8' to house a row of 55's, a row of 20 longs, a row of 30's, a row of 20's, a row of 29's and 10's squashed in where they fit. Also going to build a medical grade stainless tank with acrylic front viewing panels. This is the space I am working with. Hope to get started on the rebuild in the next few weeks (pumps, pvc, tubing, etc coming in in the next week).
I also have 5 tanks upstairs that are more "display" tanks.

Also have a shipping station set up, but I don't seem to be able to locate the pictures of that. I will also have a seperate small rack to house my 75g and 60 breeder. Going to sell the 120g once the 6x4x3 is built.

why do you want to redo it, just for organization?
everything looks great!

oh and that room must be hot as hell with all those lights!

Wow!! Looks awesome Rachh!!! I'm bet you would really enjoy eating a fritatta while sitting down there lookin at your tanks wouldn't you? :p

Can't wait for the remodel! :D

Yea, mainly so its not so random and so that I can fit more tanks with less outlets. Going to have a large linear pump running sponge filters in most of the tanks (except the big boys, they get canisters for now). Also, by redoing it, I can use less light strips and hardwire them all to one panel which will have its own timer, more efficient that way. I am also hoping by having so many tanks close together, I will not need heaters in alot of the ones that just need to be about 76. Right now, i have 35 heaters, 30 lights, 20 filters, etc running. By redoing it and streamlining it, I should be able to cut my energy use in half. It will alos look hella nicer than a bunch of mis-matched random tan ks in no particular order.

damn thats a lot of electrical. this is a really good idea, if i ever put that many tanks in my fish room ima steal your idea for sure, it seems the most productive. i know at the store i work at we have something like a one half horsepower air pump running most of the air pumps and sponge filters in the store. it seems like a giant linear pump would be hella expensive.
