Here's the tank-
55 Gallon Mbuna
10ppm Nitrates
0ppm Nitrites
8.2 pH
80F Temp
The tank has been running for about 6 months.
I noticed that my 2.5" female Msobo had what looked like a small scratch on her head yesterday, and today the "scratch" was gone, but replaced by a big dark blotch. The first spine of her dorsal fin is also black, much like the "scrape". It looks like a rough abrasion, like when a little kid falls off his bike. I'm just wondering if this is nothing but a "scrape", or if it's the first signs of something bad?? She is acting completely normal, no unnatural hiding or odd behavior is present. Any help is appreciated as I tend to worry more than I should sometimes.
Sorry. I know the picture is bad, but it's the best I could get of her with my phone, (I don't have any other camera).
