I was thinking of introducing some MTS to my AF tank, what are the positives and negitives? From what Iv'e read once you get them you get them for life! Do they eat algae off the glass? Thanks..

MTS do not eat algae but they do eat food leftovers and burrow underground which prevents the substrate from forming anaerobic pockets which are dangerous if disturbed.

This is not anything unusual. All snails do that.
