I have cycled 55 gal corner tank filled w rock ready to go. I've had salousis w intent on breeding, but only males after a yr or so I'm giving up. What is a good colony fish for my tank? I want breeding, color, and movement. Any input from the many experts here will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There is a wide variety of fish that would likely work. Are you trying for a community tank or a species only tank? Also, I am assuming this tank is taller (and not as wide) as regular, rectangular 55gal tanks. If that is true then you probably want to decrease the maximum number of fish by a little bit. That would only be the case if you want to keep the maximum number of recommended fish in your tank - if you do make sure you have lots of filtration like 10x gph.

Not knowing anything about what you want to go for as far as color or difficulty or anything, the only real recommendation I can give is to look at the website I listed and see what you like. If you find some things then ask just to make sure it will work in a 55, or if the species mix well.
