i have three pacus,and all of them r covered in mucus .my big one has it in his mouth,and i fear the babies r not far behind.these r the only affected fish,any advice on what it could be?

I'm currently using a broad spectrum anti-biotic from Virbac Animal Health called Maracyn-Two. It's for various bacterial infections from Dropsy to Septicemia. I don't know about any cotton related infections, but their Mardel line of products seem to be doing well for an Ich and Bacteria problem I have at the moment.
