Lately when I feed my Oscars, sometimes when they're chewing (Atleast that's what it looks like) the sometimes blow particles of food out their gills. This was normal to me because all of my fish have done it. But recently the food came out stuck to transparent Mucus like stuff. It doesn't look like a worm or anything living. It looks like tiny globs of clear snot. It's not every time they eat, just occasionally. They still behave completely normal and are eating like pigs. Is it bad or nothing that needs worry?

It doesn't sound like something to worry about, Fish often get particles coming out of there gills especially if they are eating foods that break up while the swallow. Happens to my fish all the time when they eat freeze dried shrimp. as for the mucus that sounds like a slime coat. don't worry
