anyone have any luck keeping them? they always die on me...i catch alot of them and i have tried a few in a tank but they never live...do they need a chiller? the tanks i have had them in were around 70f or so...thanx

They need cool/cold and very well oxygenated water. Hopefully you declorinated it as well. At more than 70, you'd need tons of aeration.

it was in a 55gal and i had 4 air stones they ate some small fish and night crawlers then just died...i caught them in the st. crouix river...it was in well water also...so the temp was ok aslong as there is alot of airration? they lived for like a week or so...

Was the tank cycled? They're sensitve to ammonia/nitrites.
