how easy are these guys to take care of and how much are theyi have ot seen one in a petstore ever

I don't personally know how difficult they are to take care of but their tank requirements seem simple enough. For the larger species (like Periophthalmus barbarus) you need maybe a 45 gal or larger (footprint more important than height) tank for one. If you want more than one you need to go larger and provide extra places on land for each to claim as territory. A small species (like Periophthalmus novemradiatus) would be OK in a 20 gal or larger for a group. They are also less territorial, but still need multiple areas.
Of course they need a large portion of the tank to be land. A soft substrate like sand should be used, because they like to burrow and have soft skin. Brackish water...Personally I'd make the SG around 1.010 or so. Maybe a little higher. They like meaty foods like bloodworms. Keep the tank well covered, because they climb and jump out of tanks.
Price varies a lot depending on the species and where you buy it. I've seen Africans for $30 and Indian dwarves for $4.

thanx for the info im interested in the indian species since they are smaller and less aggressive
