I am really interested in freshwater snails and crayfish.

Questions: What freshwater lobster/crayfish is the coolest?
What snail is the coolest?
What freshwater lob/cray is the biggest?
What freshwater snail is the biggest?
I have a big 210g and its stocked with 2 12" highfin plecos, 1 12" oscar and 30+African rift lake cichlids. Oh yeah, 1 stone fish(scorpion/toad).

Who gets along with whom and I want longevity...any advice would be great!!!

Sulawesi Tylomelania snails are very cool looking, sort of like psychadelic elephants with elongated spiral shells. Apple snails definitely get big, about the size of an apple.

The most unusual crays would have to be the Australian spiny yabbies. Asian tiger crays have some of the prettiest markings and patterns. Red claw crays get pretty big.

my favorite cray unfortunatly is unavailable. nobody has sold them from austraila..... hint hint for anyone living in austraila

I've seen some the size of my fist at my LFS.

I have a few yellow tylos and I'm very satisfied with them. I've already found one baby.

Talk about Jumbo shrimp. Here's an adult Macrobrachium rosenbergii:

I have a strong feeling these are the types of shrimp they sell in Hong Kong as feeder shrimp... since they look a lot like the ones i have in my tank right now...

Just curious though, do they only breed / lay eggs in Brackish water only? since thats what i once heard but wasn't sure...
