I love the look of mudminnows. Also, rather than paying $4.00 each from zimmermans, I can get a dozen beautifully looking ones for $3.50 from the local bait shop. Even better, these fish are collected from a farm, so they aren't disease ridden like most bait shop fish. Even then, I'll cleanse them with aquarium salt for a bit. I've heard these fish are extremely hardy and can breath air. Has anyone kept them? How are they as a tank fish? I'm planning to keep them with sunfish juveniles, so they should be fine, correct? Any other info is awesome. Thanks!

Be careful with housing them with small fishes since the mudminnows are very glutton predatory fish and will try to eat each other. But as long as everyone is at same size.
Mudminnows are predatory very hardy fish I believe they are distantly related to pickeral
