I was cruizin the second hand site in my country and came across an add or a guy who has small pieces of multiplex plates for a rediculously cheap price. I can get the wood i need to make a 24" x 24" x 32" tank for just 8 dolars :>
so i figured why not buy a couple pieces n mak paludarium. i wasplaning to do this anyway but now its gonna happen sooner than i thought. im picking up the pieces of saterday n then ill get a start.

Im gonna use this small paldarium to house some dwarf mudskippers and hopefully get them to breed...

Hi mb_barton

Good luck on your mudskipper tank. I am also changing my 55gallon planted into a bracksih mudskipper setup ;) I wouldnt get my hopes up about breeding them though because as far as I know mudskippers have never been bred in captivity before...

Hello. I know that mudskippers have bred at least once in aquarium. It was here in Finland. Aquarium was huge showpiece aquarium with a artificial tidal system and so on (Iknow the guy but he don't have/give any special details...). Anyway, the only beloved child soon died. Here is a picture of it http://www.aqua-web.fi/forum/download/file.php?id=4774 . I have a 5 mudskippers in a 180 gal system and I'm planning bigger one, 300-400 gal. With all the special tricks and technics. I love mudskippers. They are just extraordinary fellows and after couple nights at local bars, I don't need a mirror. I only have to look at them and there I am.

Really???? A guy managed to breed a mudskipper? When was that? I thought it was almost impossible to breed these little monsters. I've had mudskippers for a few yrs now and never managed to breed any. =(

Anyways, please check out my website if you're interested in my mudskipper tanks, info, care, pictures etc...
