Mudskipper filtration

I wanna get mudskippers. I have a 30 gallon. But i dont know how i could set up a filtration. And i was wondering if anyone could help explain. I wanna use a sand bottom and i might use gravel. And it will be a while before i get them. And i wanna have everything how i want it first. And i am thinking of putting a few plants in the tank too. Any help will be very apriciated.

Oh i had this other idea too. Mudskippers need a humid enviroment and i was thinking of making a homemade lid that a reptile heat lamp could hang from or i could cut a hole around and hang it down. And i would make the homeade lid secure. And i wasnt sure if the reptile heat lamp would increase the water temperature or not? Could any reptile owners answer that?
