Hihi...I've done a fair bit of research on how to keep these cuties but I can't seem to decide on their takemate:).
Archer fish and scat came into my mind but I'm new to brakish fish so can you guys tell me which one of those two or any other brackish fish that I should pick as tankmates for my mudskipper in a 30 gallons tank..

Thx in advance:D

I think some people keep them with types of crabs. Other than that most brackish fish get to large for a 30 or too aggressive for mudskippers. Maybe some bumblebee gobies or mollies. I'm sure others will give you a few suggestions -
But I would definitely say no to archers and scats.

Thank you I'll do as you said :) I'll add some gobies in with my mudskipper..thx again.

Cool vid and ur tank rocks:) for now I'll just add only mudskipper in my tank and I probably add some scats later if I can decoring my tank as good as ur:)

just a warning- scats get pretty large. I think they would quickly outgrow your tank and they have a large bioload. Check out brackishdude's picture thread- it's a good example of larger scats

hey kopo, any news on your mudskippers?.. did u get some and how about ur tankmates?

Ive recently changed my setup again... there's more high ground for the mudskippers to jump around/lay around and more surface area for the fishes in the water.. =)
Will add some piccys laters ^_^

when i had mudskippers, they would eat anything smaller, so I'd keep small "catchable" stuff out of the tank, like bumblebee gobies and small halfbeaks

Mud skippers scare easily apart from scats and archers being to big for you're tank they will probably scare the skippers and they wont go in to the water . So i would stick with guppies, mollies and platies ,bumble bee gobies may get eaten
