Hey guys, i just recieved a 22" monitor for free from a friend and i was wondering if i could hook it up to my PC. The thing is this, i already have two monitors up and running but i dont know if i could run a third. Would i need another video card?? Im currently running dual NVIDIA 6800 ultras.

is there anyway i could run three seperate monitors off these cards??

Thanks in advance :)

You can't run the 3 natively. They make a product called Triple Head to go, cool little device

Holy crap that thing is pricey. Thanks for the link though, cool little gadget. With that product i could run 6 monitors. (awesomeness!)

No, you can't especially with an SLI setup, I'm fairly sure that the 6800's use DVI-D you can try one of the 2 into 1 DVI-D adapters then run the third monitor on the VGA (unless your cards have dual DVI outputs) then use the other DVI. Not 100% it'll work but you can try.

i thought you were talking about the lizards:ROFL:

Thanks Frosty! I figured if i ran a VGA and the DVI from one of my cards it would show the same on both monitors... IDK. Ive got plenty of empty PCIE slots open so i may just grab another video card. lol
