Ok I am looking for a multi-switch power strip like the one in the picture but I need onethat has 7+ outlet/switches. I have heard that they are used more in the musical industry so I looked at guitar centers website. To no avail. then I looked at E-bay and the one in the pic was the best one they had. But still it is short one outlet/switch. Has anyone ever used one of these. And/or know what the real name of these are so I can search for them.

I want one so that way I can turn the pwoer off to certain things instead of my whole system.

Do you want each outlet on a timer too?

labeling plugs ftw

No I don't need them on timer. I don't like to have my tank lights on. the room the tanks are in have enough natural light. I am going to label all of the switches but I realy would like one strip insted of two that's why I want one of these with 7+ outlets.

it will have
2 strip lights
3 filters (one HOB two canister)
2 heaters

Dude, post the freaking info on how to find them! That is an amazing find.

And just buy two and plug one into the other. The outlets are all in parallel so plugging the second one in to the first will be adding those outlets in parallel too.

I like that one but I don't like the switches beig inhe back.

But your idea of just pluging one into the other is good. I really wish I could fin if these things have a real name besides a switched surge protector

Yep, I know what you mean. I'm thinking that if I can't find one, I'll settle on one of the rack mount ones and add white labels for each switch on top.

If I can find anything, I'll let you know. Again, nice find!

ill keep looking too b/c If I don't find anything better then what I allready found i'm going to get two of those or if it's cheeper get one of the rack mounted ones you found. either way i'm getting on sooner or later

ill haft to look into this, i need some new ones, those look sweet
