I'm getting ready to paint the rear glass on a new tank. In the past I've always sprayed on either black or dark blue, and have generally been happy with the results. But this time I was thinking of trying something bit different, and going with multiple colors.
Somewhere in the distant past I read an article that suggested using multiple shades of green, some yellow, brown, etc. to represent a vegetated background, like distant underwater plants. The suggestion was to hint at plants and not try to go for photo-realism. Unfortunately the article provided no example photos.
I was wondering if anyone had tried such an approach, did you like it. and do you have pictures to share? I'd like to get an idea of finished results, rather than experimenting and then razor blading the outcome.
