ok i have 7 10g tanks sitting on my porch...what should i do with them..pitch them or make some kind of set up...if you suggest a set up what kind and what inhabitants......kinda thought about making a rack(like a chain store) with them interconnected with a sump...but what could i really do with them in all honesty...its a good day to float your suggestions..i have no fish that need feeder fish and no jumpers because these 10g are all without any top covering

Killi fish do well in 10gal tanks, fallen leaf littler or peat moss can be used as substrate, where they will deposit eggs.
You can regularly take out, and squeeze the peat, store it and in a few months in a cabinet, then reconstitute and hatch the eggs

also some of the small wild type mouthbrooding bettas also work in the tiny tanks

If you're into PC gaming and overclocking, I would turn one into a full submersion setup.

That's funny, I've seen a couple of those.

Just a word of caution drilling those little 10 gals with thin glass. I've drilled a 5.5gal and I siliconed an extra piece of small glass over where the hole was and drilled through that one too just to add to the strength. Any little twist on the plumbing can crack the glass. I

Are you talking about drilling for PC use? If so, i agree and would not drill at all. Just having the wiring loom come down from the top is fine. Keeping things simple is usually the way to go.. especially in this case. It is hard as heck to keep oil from penetrating a wiring grommet for one thing.

Okay, how about this idea… leave one filled with water and partially/briefly exposed to the sun a little bit of the day for most of the summer, topping it off occasionally. It won’t take long for it to be a cornucopia of life depending on where you live. Here in the Midwest it would be quickly filled with dragon and damselfly nymphs, giant water bugs, whirligig beetles, mosquito larvae as well as hundreds of other things. I would probably drop a couple leeches in for good measure.

There is something cool about having a window like that into such a packed microcosm of life.

Or just breed malaria and piss off the neighbors.
