Hi,

Can I keep multiple gulper catfishes in the same tank? No other tank mates, just 3 to 4 gulpers of roughly the same size. Will they eat each other?

Also, bonus question, how about keeping gulpers with a curupira wolf fish of similar size?
Thanks,
Alvin

Should be fine to keep a few gulpers together.

Not to keeping any wolves with them.

Welcome aboard! Gulpers do not eat gulpers, so keeping them together is fine.

The wolf is a different matter. I'd probably not risk it. Both fish present risk to each other.

Wolf would have to be bigger likely or it'll be eaten, but let's say you get away with two 4" ones, the wolf will quickly out grow the gulper and maybe eat it if the gulper doesn't do the same first, the other risk the wolf poses is aggression, assuming you get the average specimen you'll be alright most likely but there are plenty of exceptions with wolves and they are very personable ime, the wolf can decide it loves the gulper and may act protecting or it may hate the gulper and outright kill it even if you get an average one. It depends on the specimen when it comes to wolves and how their initial reaction to eachother goes.
