this is quick and simple do u think i could keep two specimens of gymnothorax tile in one tank??? the current tank is a 50 gal there new tank which will be running in a couple days is 100 gal

Yup, depends on the individual eel and tank and whatnot but they are friendly with each other and it should not be a problem. Mine got along fine after a couple small quarrels.

Mine get on fine, just give them a big tank with lots of rockwork or simlar (for hiding places) and all should work out well. Oh, and feed them well :D

well after a couple of fights they are in the new tank now and are best buddies , one is 24 inches other is about 18 .

the new eel ever fed the first night in her new tank which i am really stoked about , first one took almost a month to feed .

Good stuff, congrats and lets see some pics!

Speaking of...

mine took over a month to feed when i first got it. then it ate every day. then, about 2 weeks ago, I moved. it has only eaten once since the move, and that was over a week ago. I'm pretty sure he'll eat when he is ready, but my wife is worried. some info from a third party would help ease her mind.

They are pretty common with their "hunger strikes" I have seen mine go close to 6 weeks before resuming normal eating habits. That was after I changed their substrate from gravel to sand. Just give them time and keep offering food and they will eventually start eating again.
