Multiple Needlenose together ?

Dont know where else to post this, guess this is the best place since most Needlenose threads are here, since their not true gar and all that

But i have one around 8" and have trained him off live foods, he takes frozen shrimps.
Anyways, i have the oppertunity to get 2 more, maybe around 4-5".
I know they are "group fish" but i was wondering if they would all be ok with each other and stick together or if there would be a problem possibility ?

Anybody have experience with this ?

they should be just fine together....You got yours off of live?? Good job!! That is something I have heard is very difficult to do.

yes i was very surpriced since i wasnt even trying, i feed all my other fish shrimps and one day the needlenose just took one, ever since there has been no problem. It always charges the first shrimp that i drop in the tank it does not eat anything else, have tried pellets and fresh (grocery store)fish and it spits it out.

they should be ok. just make sure the new ones aren't too much smaller than the one you have now. in your post you said the new ones are 4-5 inches. that's about half the size of the one in the tank now.

like i said...they should be ok. just watch them.
