I was certain I had a male and a female. I have described the smaller as the female and the male as the larger. The larger has eye wrinkles and I was pretty sure a belly line. Now the smaller is presenting a very dark belly line and the larger I am uncertain.
The video definitely looks like you have a male and female. She probably doesn’t want to breed and is trying to ward the male off. Consider adding more females so this one isn’t so stressed.

Happy dance. Unfortunately, I only have 3 beans and when I added the 3rd one these two where not happy. My other bean is larger than the big bean in the video.
Definitely enough room for more puffers then. If you try adding in groups it may give more puffers a better chance. You can add 3-4 more and they will all have enough room for territories.

Definitely agree that adding more in at the same time will help reduce aggression towards the newcomers. I know I almost always try to do this myself when adding new fish to a tank. Not only do I find that it reduces aggression but I also find that it reduces stress for the newbies too.
