i recntly purchased a mushroom for my tank and also a kolt coral.
do the mushrooms like to move around? i have had it for a week now and it looks like its trying to transfer to my base rock instead of the one it is on now its like spliting like on its rite side and the other three quaters of it are trying to go on to the base rock any suggestions?

Yes it will move on to the other rock. You can also just cut off a small part of it's foot on either rock and you'll have a new shroom sooner rather than later lol. They will often times move out of the way if they are in high water flow. They leave behind bits of their foot and voila new mushroom. As far as I know pedal laceration is one of their primary means of reproduction.

seen mushrooms spawn and carry itself to somewhere else and attach it self to a completely different rock. is pretty good, when random little ones just pop up lol

Yeah, they are sort of like sponges . You could pretty much put one in a blender chop it into bit and pour the slurry into your tank ,"I'm exagerating some DON'T try this at home kiddies", and have them grow everywhere.
