Awesome video! Tho the clams sometimes ended up as a dinner for large fish. Found a large clam inside a 30" northern pike.

Nice video! I've seen a few lampmussels in my local streams and they really do have amazing lures, never got to see any predators attempt to bite them though.

Great video but I would be remiss if i didn't do the downer thang and add that mussels are protected in most if not all moving waters in the US, do not collect them, sorry but just saying...

No one asserted they were being collected but it's a good idea when talking about some things to make sure people understand various aspects of native fish collecting and what not. Like making sure people know not to release fish that have been captive help back into the waters.
