Why does my striata not eating mussels? Its the first time i gave him and he was standing near and watching it tried 6-7 times he was doin all the time the same

May not like the taste of Mussels.

Maybe different texture or smell. Not the normal then the fish may not respond the way we like. If u starve it a few days then it’ll probably take it.

They are an ok snack. Not as the main food.

Of course actually he did same to tilapia , well now he only accepts pellets and worms (meal-morio) but i want to feed him many things..
