must get rid of my green severum

well my green sev is 6 inches and coming into maturity and is bullying the whole tank very bad im hurt to get rid of him but i cant do another tank for him so im trading him in on a 3 inch red spotted gold severum today hope it works out well

So your going to trade a maturing Green Male Severum, for a slightly younger, Gold Male Severum, about 3 - 6 months younger.

Guess whats going to happen in a few months?

I agree, getting another severum is going to give you the same result. Often times female severums are worse about picking on other fish then the males. Get a keyhole or something less agressive depending upon your tank size and current stock.

isnt there another fish you would prefer that is less aggressive?

kindof like living in an apartment and saying "i have a great dane that is 2yo but hes getting to big so im trading him for a 4month old great dane"

Well in all fairness, the aggressive of Severums differs greatly. I traded in my 7" Female after finally having enough of my two Severums not getting along at all, and bought a 2" Male that gets along fine with my 6" Male. All is good.

But, its a gamble.

Guess it all depends on tank mates, tank size.

My killer male has suddenly calmed down now hes in with geos. Even to the extent where i can now house him with 1" corydoras julii.

Get up the tank size, tank mates etc and lets have a proper look at this one.
