muted severum colors???

i got a severum the other day and his colors are VERY muted, he was pretty dark in the dealers tank, but now he almost looks like a gold severum, and i know he isnt. do you think hes just taking some time to adjust or am i doing something wrong, i was thinking about switching to black gravel, but, i dont know, anyone else see this in there severums?

well if you just got him id say wait a while till he gets used to his new surroundings and he'll get bak his colors.

prolly just a bit stressed, give it a few days to settle in

Another to the pile.. the fish is probably just stressed and needs to settle. If it was OK at the fish shop then I wouldn't worry.
