Mutt Black Belt?

I have a somewhat mystery Vieja, I think it may be a mutt Black Belt. It's very dark compared to my other one, a much darker blue overall and more black scales throughout. The belly is nearly black and it doesn't have as defined of a belt. Any guesses??

It looks like a pure tank raised black belt to me. It was similar to my female I raised a while back. It was similar to yours when young.

Looks pure black belt to me. Colors can vary on many cichlds. I wouldn't say it's a hybrid or mutt because of that.
