Mutumbi hunters Question

I have 6 mutumbi hunters I got them a month ago at about .75 inches, they are now pushing 1.5 inches and eating like pigs.

My question is sexing them. Do only the males get the egg spots or do the females sometimes get them? Currently 5 of mine have egg spots and 1 doesn't.

Most of the time with vics both male and female can have eggs spots. The difference is you see will a ring of sorts around the eggs spots of a male and a female won't have these. It is like a clear type orbit.
