Just got my second Hoplias Curupira It is much blacker and angrier than my other one.
Heres some pics.

Yeah, I've had a SP argentina, Igauaza and curupira cohab aswell which worked out well and also 5 mala cohab which was successful aswell.

Your Curu is dark, reminds me of Aimara.....

Speaking of Aimara when are you going to get one of those?

I am actually getting an Aimara soon, Gonna try to cohab it with my current wolves lol. If it fails it will have to be in a 125gal on its own.
No issues with the dorados and wolves at all. The only fish that causes problems is my channa marulioides but it has calmed down since I introduced the curupira.

The flow isn't that strong the flow only spreads to where those stones are. they usually hang out at the other side of the tank.
