my pleco died few days ago w/o any reason.. maybe my pleco died few day in tank before i realize it;s happen..

He must have been older to reach such a size.. mine is about that size too.. so i am now wondering if he is older..does anyone know how big they get and how long they normally live.. he was a good looking guy and i am sorry for your loss..

I had a 12" that died over the weekend. It was my own fault too. We had a cold snap and I forgot to put a heater in his pond. Sorry about your fish.

Is it a common or a sailfin ? Both are quite alike. A common can get to 24" while a sailfin about 12". I got myself that is about 8" now.


8" for a common is quite small. However they really slow grower
