Hey guys here are some pics of my 115 5ft tank. I know this tank is overstocked and I will deal with that down the line. For the time being everyone is getting along great as the aggression is spread out nicely. I have some beautiful fish that are growing into their own. Let me know what you think. Tank mates include
2 Pictus cats 4-5 inches
1 midevil 11 inches
1 texas 8 inches
1 butti 9 inches
1 green terror 5 inches
1 firemouth 4 inches
1 jack dempsey 8 inches
1 raphael catfish 13 inches
1 sailfin squeaker catfish 10 inches

Also which are your favorites, and who do you think I should keep longterm! Thanks!

Tank looks great now, but the buttikoferi is likely going to kill them all when he grows. I recommend a separate tank for him and a separate separate tank for the devil for similar reasons. The firemouth may also not work out long term. Everyone arose should be good for now. It really depends on the individual fish.
BTW you got a really nice midevil, Texas, and buttie!

All your fish look incredible! I'm surprised this combination is working now as these are some very aggressive fish all in one tank. Your tank's size is really saving you in my opinion as it would seem that if the fish has a fight they can distance themselves from each other easily. As previously stated, none of these fish except a select few will make it in the long run. I say cherish all the time you have with them together and getting along before some fish have to be rehomed.

Thanks guys, they hardly even chase each other its weird especially considering the devil is an alpha male with a massive hump. I just dont know who to keep.

im curious as to what your filtration is. Ive got a 150 and run 2 emperor 400s. It only works because i do maintenance 2x week. Was considering adding a bit more and like to get ideas from other hobbyist setups.

If I were you I would keep the Devil, it is a nice individual. The buttikoferi, even as a solo fish, sill need a bigger tank, they get huge. The texas and other cichlids will likely need to be moved eventually, or your devil may be mellow and allow a tankmate or two. Normally I would think a 115 is a home for a single adult male Devil.
My first step if I were you would be to move the Butti on. That is the most likely fish to snap and start killing others in my opinion.

At first I just had a big double wheel marine land but I just added a via aqua 650 canister and it’s made a world of difference in water clarity also 1/2-3/4 water changes weekly.

I like that idea he really is an awesome specimen check out some pics from today at the bottom of the thread!

Here are some pics from this evening. The raphael and sailfin have to be two of the coolest large catfish on the website I would think!? What do you guys think. The raphael is like 12inch and the sailfin like 9-10.
