I was at the Pet store the other day and picked this fellow up for $12. What do you guys thank? Dont know too much about Flowerhorns but I thought I would give it a try.
It only takes one!!!!!!...then you want another...and another!!!!!...then you will be doing research on strains...and figure out what you want or like!!!! God I love flowerhorns!!!! So many possibilities!!!!looks to be a Red Dragon fry on your next buy look for a flowerline the extends all the way from the tail to the gill, if you can find a flowerline that goes straight to the eye, even better show grade fh must have the flowerline extending to the eye...but like the other guys have said, your about to be hooked so get ready this is jusy a beginning, but keep in mind unlike other ornamental fish these need very good care, being a hybrid fish they suffer from many types of diseases...this fh is a good starter fish for ya, learn as much as you can...
Nice for a first. I wouldn't mind my first looking like that. Health problems comes mainly from inbreeding IMO
