He is one of my remaining plecos. I got rid off most of my pleco collection.

Stunning specimen......have you had him since he was a juvie ? If so how fast did he grow....I have an L25 myself mine is still tiny just around the 3" mark but he has amazing tail streamers(they are about all I get to see of him he is very shy......). just wondering how long mine will take to hit around 6" so i can get him in to my big tank.......

Again beautiful fish....

Thanks. I got it when it was already 10". It probably grew about 2" in the last six month. I think young specimen would probably grow faster than big ones.

Very nice pleco... I am thinking about getting one now.. Would these guys ruin an acrylic tank? In your opinion

Thanks again for all the kind words.

I don't think so becasue mine is in a 240g acrylic tank. Scarlets don't really eat algeas. I haven't seen mine attaching itself to the tank.

Nice I want a l25 bad. My dream pleco. Just sucks I have to choose between pleco/rays.

My FAVORITE pleco. I absolutly love it! The red is so bright on yours. I WILL have myself one one of these days.
