Hi again, going for the same thing with my 120....feedback and I have a question

5 Frontosa
1 Rope Snake
1 Humphead Geophagus
1 7" Black Ghost Knife
1 7" Baby Whale (elephant nose, without nose)
2 CLown Loaches
1 Bolivian Ram
some serpae tetra and some barbs

My question is....can anyone tell me what kind of Frontosas these are, and how low quality do they look?

I would like to breed Frontosas, but I don't want to do it if they are inferior quality.

The fronts don't look low quality to me. There really isn't low quality fronts, just ones that show more blue than others. It all depends on the location of the lake in which they originated. If you got them at a LFS my guess would be that they are burundis, but it can be hard to tell what you have at a large size, let alone when they are smaller.

Nice tank by the way.

Man you sure do have some crazy combos. It looks like it is all working really good though.

Yeah I know, I have been very lucky. If they would all just stop breeding.....everytime I turn around someone is popping out eggs, or spitting out fry. I love the babies, but I am running out of places to put them :nilly:

I have a tank full of managuense fry right now, they are about 2 weeks since hatch.....I swear there are 1000 of them. I can't bear to feed them to my other fish.....maybe after 20,000 more fry it will be easier

actually there are such things as low quality frontosas like the f999 i used to have. he was pretty cool, 6 stripes on one side and 7 on the other. all the stripes were crooked too lol but yours look very nice

i like your fronts
