Hello everybody,

First thread for me here.

below you can find some captures of my SA community tank. It has been running for about 3 months now, working on the setup since last December

Aquarium is 4'x27", 22" high (120x70x55 cm). Bottom sump filteration

Stock - (it is overstocked and I'm in the process of selling few of the smaller ones):

1 Heros sp. 'rotkeil' / Severum Red shoulder Female
1 Heros Sverus
2 Red Spotted Sverums
1 small Green Sverum

1 Geophagus SP "Tapajos Red Head"
1 Large geophagus altifrons
1 Large geophagus abalios
1 Med geophagus Steindachneri
2 young geophagus winemilleri

1 Hoplarchus psittacus - Parrot cichlid
1 med aequidens diadema
1 med aequidens metae
3 Festivum

1 small Lepomis megalotis
2 small Temporalis
2 Abramites
L200, L201, L168 and L81

Hoplarchus psittacus (wild caught) - very rare here in Israel. couldn't get one till ~6 weeks ago when first import was made. this one is about 5-6". supposted to become much nicer with time

in the back of the picture above you can see a large wild caught Geophagus Brasiliensis that was taken out about a week back because he was just too aggressive. Here he is in full:

I would appreciate your feedback and ideas on the decoration, fish stockon, the set up etc

Numbers aside, this is a very beautiful tank! I love the stock and the aquascaping is superb. You have created a very nice tank! I really don't know what to tell you to remove or keep. I guess it all depends on which species you care for the most. Thanks for sharing your stock and photography with us.
 
Quite possibly one of the most beautiful Heros I have ever seen. Truely jealous you have a superb selection, I love your minimalist rock/wood decor offset with the light sand.

Excellent photography as well btw! You must some good equipment.

I have an fish very similar to next, but I believe it's Archocentrus spilurus o Cryptoheros spilurus...

Nice tank and setup man, I love the red spotted gold severum! Looks just like mine :)
