Hey~

Need some opinions, I am cleaning up my 125 for my Juvi Freds, (4) Lyonsi (1) and Neets (4), I have a single H.pantostictus (Blue Labriden) in the tank who does great, I have also in a 55 some grow out H.carpintis (Chairel) (equal Size) and was thinking of putting the largest of these in the 125, Opinions, am I sending him or the Blue Lab to a death sentence due to the conspecific genus?

Thoughts Please

Nuthman~

:D

All of them? Freddies are 3-4", Neets are 2" Lyonsi is 3" and the Blue Lab as well as the Carpintis are 2"

I dont think any of your fish are in any real danger at those sizes. your blue labs do need to live stress free though or they may bloat. Your freddies and neets might be too big and too agro respectively for your other 2" fish. might want to keep those away from the other 2"ers

Thanks Brother, I had a blue lab in before who was the meanest cuss alive, yet his tank (150 Gal - 6') consisted of Veja argentea, Archros cutteri, Amp lyonsi, festae, all small, and due to that, I am more worried about the conspecific (sp) genus, 2 different herichthys, as the freddies and neets have been with this specific blue lab since 1/2". I don't want to send either herichthys to their demise.
