Here is my Mbuna set up, although i do have 3 peacocks due to a friend broke down the tank and bought them to me so they are going to my LFS in the next day or two. I am still working on the rock structuring. All these photos were taken by my cell phone so quality may be a touch poor. Didn't have my high end DSLR, that what i use most of the time. Let me know what you think!!!886657_10200683754034463_634368919_o.jpg62423_10200683894837983_958138512_n.jpg75090_10200683767514800_900562455_n.jpg295579_10200683769914860_1459695021_n.jpg482417_10200683774034963_934189122_n.jpg486140_10200683773514950_1415730439_n.jpg580706_10200683765194742_1479807238_n.jpg

Love it! I have a 50 gallon with some z rocks and synodontis that is set up just like that with only texas holey rock. Mine is a minature of yours. Texas holey rock looks great stacked and all by itself! Only thing your tank needs is a few ore mbuna.

nice setup

Thanks Allan I have a huge stock list in that tank believe it or not. When I was looking over the pics I said the same thing....the tank looks like there is hardly any fish. I have 3 syno multi, 2 syno hybrids called jaguars 3 bushy nose, 1 rubber lipped pleco, 12 yellow labs, 12 rusties, 6 cobue afras, 3 clown loaches. I know I have more but can't think at the moment but my plan is to do male to female ratios. With the mbunas.

GillyGil i have 2 36" Double LED Marineland lights and livebearerfreak as much as people like them im always conflicted i am trying to go with the real Mbuna set up even though the loaches and bushy nose are really party of it. Plus the one large male peacock is really going crazy after the other male and female. The other reason is i have one clue as to what type of peacocks they are, maybe if i knew i would keep them. I love to educated myself on fish that i will be getting and in this case i didn't have the time and she had no clue to she just like the way they looked!! Maybe i will post up a pic of them and i can have someone ID them for me at least this way i know what they are regardless.
