I will admit I may not be the most experience fish keeper but I am learning more and more every day. Since I have become more knowledgeable I have begun buying more exotic fish. Of course I do my research before I buy them.

Almost everything in my tank is South American. I have a Silver Arowana, Clown Knife, Payara, a Long fin Senegal Bichir. Today I added a Royal pleco, I got for $50. I have never seen one this size for that price so I am really excited.

Here are a couple pictures once I get my camera back I will take more and better pics. All these where taken with my cell phone.

The cloth plants have been replaced with real ones. I plan on overhauling the look of the tank soon. Hope you all enjoy!

Great fish. Some of my favorites.

Be careful of those Aros. If you havent already, put something heavy on the hoods. They will jump out and THROUGH hoods.
Are you planning on upgrading them to a larger tank as they max out in that one?
I have a 125 also, but havent gotten a Silver Aro since they grow much longer than the tank is wide. But then, i cant afford a bigger tank later on. :D
Maybe some day.

Have fun with your fish.

The top of the tank is a solid glass lid with the light on it. He is way to small to move it right now. When he gets larger I will put something heavier on it.

I forgot to mention I built the stand with my father a year or two ago.

Here are more pics of the pleco now that he is in the tank.

Nice aro. That royal looks huge. How big is it?

Nice catch on that Royal! That would have gone for a lot more around here.

in less than a year your gonna be needing a bigger tank, so start saving up.

I have begun saving I am going to just build my stand again since it was easy and saved me a healthy sum.

He is about 8-9 inches long. He is making short work of any algae buildup in the tank. :D

The websites I looked at had one his size priced at $170+

So far my tank is all South Americans other than my Polypterus. I plan on getting all South American plants (if they look good). I plan on changing rocks here soon and getting some drift wood to give the tank a more natural feel.

i like the royal pleco! nice tank!
