all natural stones i collected with driftwood. i have an adult female rose queen and an adult male pink convict and a baby black shark and an sub adult adult sailfin pleco.

will the sailfin and black shark outgrow my 125? they are supposed to hit 18 inches max. if so i will give away either but let me tell you what i would like to do...

keep the current stock and dump in like 7 or so parrot cichlids with the con and rose queen. maybe give away the pleco and let the black shark grow to be the boss.

how does this sound?

The pleco size depends on species. "Sailfin" mainly describes 2 species usually. A L001 P. Jose. Usually hits 11-12", wher a P. Gibbicepts typically hits 18-24" if fed and housed properly. The gibby is far more common and you most likely have one of those.

If you are gonna dump in the BP's id get rid of the other cichlids depending on temperment. Both are fairly aggressive IME and might not work out long term. If it was me id keep the current stock and add a few more ca/sa's like a Firemouth, red severum, GT, or texas. And id keep the pleco until it got to 16".

The black shark can and will hit 23 inches. They are crazy agressive and will harrass your other stock maybe the pleco with the armor will be alright. It will not outgrow your 125 but will take over the whole tank and could cause an ick outbreak harrass the other inhabitats. They are a cool fish when large though but you have to decide. The others will all be fine together.

If you look closely, some of the puke is coming out his eye...

I knew nothing about the black shark, never had any experience with them. So I stand by my above reply adding for the OP to stock accordingly

what about 2 oscars and 6-8 parrots
