So I've been taking my time setting it up and I still have more to do, but I figured I'd make this thread. Below are pics from getting the tanks up 3 flights of stairs to moving my current fish over tonight. Hoping to add a school of lemon tetras and some geophagus sp. red head tapajos, though I'm not sure where I'm getting the geos... Rapps had them in and I was going to order when I ordered my Lyonsi but they are no longer on his stock list. Anyways, still more work to be done but I thought I'd share!

Also I'd like to say that I got to see true joy as I let my red severum out of the bag as he/she swam back and forth across the 6 ft tank, finally moving from its 37 gallon grow out tank.

tank looks great and love the woodwork. Definitely go with the Geo's, they will work well with the severums

Thanks! Was paranoid with the wood because I treated it my self, glad to see it working out. We'll get geos for sure, just a question if we wait for the red head tapajos or go with something else.

What kind of wood did you use? I have been holding on to some oak branches to use.
A couple of years ago I picked up some Red head Tapajos from Imperial Tropical, and they are doing well. If Rapps is out, it's another option

Not sure on type honestly, just stuff I went and picked up from the woods.

Nice looking tank.I like the wood arrangement,it looks nice and natural.
A group of Geos and a nice large school of characins will look great in there.
