I finally decided to do a 125g mangrove after years of chickening out. My tank is a 125g acrylic seaclear aquarium. I'll be using a 30g wet/dry filter and possibly a marineland 220 cannister. My stock will consist of 4x Neritina vespertina, 4x neritina granosa, 3x toxotes jaculatrix, 2x toxotes chatareus, 3x Toxotes microlepis, 2x Scatophagus tetracanthus, 3x scatophagus argus, and maybe some gobies. I'm using crushed coral sand, mangrove plants, petrified wood, and coral in my sump.
today I added the sand to my tank and wished I bought cleaner sand. I'm still trying to siphon out the dust! LOL! I'll upload some pics tomorrow.

2nd day: still cloudy

Common pleco is still alive(left him in to sift sediment so it can be removed by filters.

Wow I love that look!!!
Thanks, I still want to add more petrified wood. Thought about adding a bunch of java fern I have but afraid the scats will destroy it.

Thanks!

I need to do more work to it on monday. Added the 3 green scats today and they are doing just fine. More pics monday

Heres a pic of the green scats. Found out I gotta wait another week for more petrified wood to come in. I'm almost done with the wet/dry. Hopefully I can finish it tomorrow and throw in the archers.
