my 12inch jardini

had this guy for about 10 months now i think hes bigger than 12inches not sure but got him when he was about 5inches, i have him with a 3inch dat, 6inch bichir and a 4inch silver dollar and so far have had no problems

Hopefully you'll be one of the luck ones who has a Jardini that will tolerate tank mates. For the most part, mine does too, but he goes NUTTS on anything with silver coloration...and of course he always has to be the first to eat or else he'll tear some heads off then.

Yeah when he eats he does like his space but so far no problems with the smaller tankmates
